담당업무
- Acts as a Senior professional based on broad and deep experience.
- Works independently on the most complex legal issues. Counsels management to ensure that legally sound
decisions or plans are being made and when changes in the law occur.
- Proactively looks to hedge risk within the businesses. Leads the implementation, review, and compliance with
Philips Corporate Business Principles and policies as they relate to the client base and applicable policies of the
particular business.
- Negotiates agreements and defends all disputes for Sector/ businesses. He/She will be seen as an expert in
certain specialized legal fields. Works with outside counsel to develop the defense; briefs and guides them and
supervises their work and recommends whether a case should be tried or settled. Assists in court trials and
recommends whether a case should be tried or settled.
- Handles integral and intricate legal issues on own behalf as requested by clients.
- Formulates, as the subject matter expert, the future strategic directions on his domain. Determines the relevance
of this domain for Philips, assessing the value of new developments and identifying new opportunities for
Philips. Oversees the global developments in his domain that are relevant for the business, and determines the
implications for his domain.
- Having broad expertise or unique knowledge,, uses skills to contribute to the development of company
objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.
- A senior -level individual contributor manager, viewed as an expert by the company and in the field. Having
broad expertise or unique knowledge,, uses skills to contribute to the development of the company
- Works independently with the business teams on the more complex revenue-generating commercial
transactions supporting Philips HealthTech (HT) new Go-to-market (GTM) offers,
- Together with internal stakeholders, management & key customer & partners. Proactively works to balance risks
within the businesses, bearing in mind internal policies, revenue goals, compliance, and legal risks.
- Leads the implementation, legal investigation support, and recommends actions to be taken for matters arising
from Philips General Business Principles (GBP) (ie Philips ethics & compliance programs)
자격요건
- Law degree from an established Korean university & be effectively bilingual in English & Korean.
- 12 to 15 years of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE), of which at least 6 to 8 years from an in-house MNC
environment. TMT or Medtech/healthcare experience is an added advantage.
- Experience in dealing with local regulators – KFTC, privacy, and/or KMDIA.
- Data privacy and Compliance experience, an added advantage – in particular, KMDIA Code of Ethics, Advamed,
etc. Manages roll -out of Philips compliance training programs (e.g. anti-trust & competition law, ABAC, export
controls etc), compliance investigation oversight & recommendations to the business on investigation outcomes.
- The ability to advise on, review, negotiate & successfully conclude commercial transactional matters for medical
technology direct sales, and sales through channels; complex medical technology solution sales, new go-to
market models; and B2B/B2C distribution agreements & e-commerce contracts.
- Experience in managing external law firms in litigation & pre-litigation matters – for eg commercial disputes,
labor matters, regulatory -related issues.
- Some experience in M&A & divestment exercises.
- The ability to communicate & Collaborate effectively with the local management team.
